For four decades Marianne has explored the properties of the natural world. Her practice is characterised by the incorporation of many families of the floribunda, faunae and arboreal worlds.

Most recently, Marianne pushes these themes into the realm of fantasy and imagination, entertaining the notion of illumination in generic trees and creating the world of the Boomanoomana Fairies.
